Starbonded

A LitRPG Progression

Ten years ago, Matthew began the lie.

When his family is annihilated in a political purge, he is powerless to stop it. He is taken into a life of slavery where he is forced to make a choice: die and let his enemies go free, or make a lasting sacrifice.

Starbonded is a LitRPG progression novel built for the Royal Road community and fans of the genre. It is a slow burn, progression oriented novel, though I must say, the RPG part comes much later than most would expect, defying some genre cliches which I am actually excited about because now the book’s best story beats drive progression rather than trying to force the reverse.

I am planning on releasing the book on Royal Road in September 2026 (or earlier). Patreon subscribers can read ahead (right now, even) as well as participate in the community.

The Great Expansions Book 1: The Seer's Choice

When Michael starts to see cloaked, shadowy figures following his friends at school—figures no one else can see—he is thrust into a world he never believed existed. With his sight of the ghostly figures marking him as a potential, prophesied seer, he is assassinated by an ancient order seeking to rule the lives of men and women in both worlds. Waking up in the world of the Spirit, Michael encounters a battle raging from the dawn of time—one side fighting to close the gates to the great eternal expansions humanity may find, and the other, seeking to fulfill the prophecy to unlock them.

The Great Expansions Book One has been in progress for several years. It is in its 4th draft and the book that is closest to true completion. Early reviews are staggeringly positive and of all the books that I’m excited to publish, it is this series, in which I have five books planned already, for which I am most excited.

I am excited beyond description to release Death Junkies. The characters and story have surprised me with their compelling nature and it is a privelege to see where the characters go, the challenges they face and overcome.

No work in progress is without its difficulty. And the support from others paves the way for me to actually put out some good.
